StrAngE ConNecTionS..

Have you ever thought, how you come across some people in life whom you just never want to lose..?

Your life is going on, the same normal routine, doing the everyday job, working, studying, meeting friends, hanging out, etc etc etc.. But one day, suddenly, out of nowhere, someone steps into your life. Its not really only one person, there are many such people who slowly enter your life and became a part of it, quite an essential part, to be precise. They enter your life like any-other-person but after a while, when you spend some time with them talking, chit-chatting, laughing...they become a very important part of your life..!
You start relying on them for almost everything. When you're low, you know they're there for you. When you have nothing to do and you're getting bored, you know they're there to cheer you up. When something goes wrong, you always know they're there to stand by your side (not literally though, but yes, they're there), supporting you..
They are those people with whom you can just go on and on talking, and never get bored or tired. Its like, you're talking to them 24/7, constantly in touch with them, you know everything they do, still you never get bored of asking them, "What's up..?". Sometimes, the conversation is just revolving around Ya, Hmm, Okie, Haha, Lol, Lmao and other similar words, still you love to continue the conversation with them. You feel good whenever you're talking to them, you enjoy those moments to the fullest. Whenever you hear your phone beep and see their message/call, in no time, your face is covered all over with a smile that lasts forever..!
They're not your friends, not family, not your brother/sister, not your partner, not even relatives. Its a very special, cosy, affectionate relationship that you share with them, there's no way I can define/explain them in words. All i can say is that, they are way beyond every relationship that exists on earth..!

Its simply love and care that 'WE' share..

The Girl with contagious smile..

I saw her for the first time and,
"Oh she's so cute", was what i thought..

I remember the days when she was a child,
She did all that which would make you lose your mind..
She would play with flour instead of flower,
And she would play with paint and color..

She is naughty and she is quiet,
She is the one who gives you light..
She is loud and she is subtle,
She is the one who has lots of tattle..

She has color and she has style,
She is the one who can make you smile..
Sweet like sugar and sour like lime,
In this busy world, she has all the time..

She creates moments and she creates laughter,
She makes you forget all the anger..
It is her endless joy and love,
That makes her not less than a Dove..

I've seen her growing into the girl she is,
And all i can say, "Awesomeness" she is..!!

The three letter word - "M.O.M"

A gratitude to the woman whom i believe the most in..

The most beautiful woman in my life, my Mom, is the one whom i owe my life.. She has done every possible and impossible thing to nurture me, nourish me and flourish me into the person i am today..!

She has been my strength, my mentor, a companion, an inspiration, my soul-mate, my friend, my chauffeur, the best cook, a teacher, my Father...And most importantly, She has been the "Best Mom" ever..!

Since the day i was born, She has never let anything or anyone come between the two of us. It has always been "WE", never 'You' and 'Me'..
I still remember, being a child how i used to hate it when She asked me questions about my whereabouts, my friends, my colleagues, studies..i hated it when she kept an eye on me. But today, i realise it was her love, care, concern and affection that made her do all that.. It was her unconditional love that did all what She did for me.
When i was a child, i went to school like every other child would. On my return, She waited for me with such eagerness and love that it almost killed me with happiness. I felt happy to find someone waiting for me with so much love in their eyes and heart. I still remember those pretty eyes waiting for the slightest of my vision. Once i was back from school, She got busy with her routine which always revolved around me. And still, Her satellite continues to revolve around the planet, Me.. It is always just about me, my studies, my favourite meals, my clothes, etc. She just never gets tired doing things for me..! It is Her selfless love that makes Her forget Her own self. She always has all the time in the world, for me. I remember how She held me close to Her in bed, the way She caressed me and put the blanket on me when i was deep asleep, the way She took care of me when i was sick, the way She always prepared my favourite food, the way She kissed my forehead every night wishing me goodnight, the way She always had only love to offer to me..! Time passed by and i grew up and had my own group of people to hang out with. Inspite of me being 'not so available' to Her, She is always available.. She has the prettiest eyes ever and that spark in her eyes..those pretty eyes make me fall in love with her over and over again..!

She is strong as a stone and, soft as a cloud. Whenever i am low, i always find her standing besides me, holding my hand, hugging me tight, weeping along with me.. She is one of a kind and a very strong woman. She has a great soft heart like that of an angel. She is the inspiration behind everything that i do. She has it all that a woman needs to have in today's world. She's smart and intelligent and She is fun to be with..
She is  just "Perfect" and i "Love" her unlimited..!!

"She is the woman i look up to, She is whom i follow, She is what i want to be.."

A Goodbye..

It all started during my trip to Ujjain, a small city in Madhyapradesh. It was a long awaited trip and finally took shape after almost 12 years of waiting..! It was just a day's trip which was actually meant to meet two of the few amazing people I have, that is, my Nanu and my lovingly adorable Masi. Memories of my childhood flashed in front of my eyes merely by the name of the place, 'Ujjain'. I've had such great memories with the people, the house and everything that belongs to that city. I was dying out of excitement to see them all and spend some quality time with them.
We, that is, me, my mom and my uncle, decided to drive down to Ujjain. The travelling seemed so very long and I just couldn't wait to get there. So to avoid that restlessness, I decided to sleep all way long till Ujjain, and I ended up doing that too. After 8 hours of sleeping (travelling), I was finally there..!
As soon as I reached, I jumped out of the car to get inside the main gate of the 'kothi' and meet Nanu and Masi. But as soon as I opened the gate and stepped inside, I saw a very strange but a familiar face staring at me with all the love in them. She was a four-footed beast, named 'Kajji'. She was a real beauty, decent looking, off-white in color with some brown spots on her body. She had an amazing glow on her pretty face and had a black dog belt around her neck, which made her look even more lovely. We had never met or seen each other in our lives, but still I could feel a strange connection with her. As she saw me coming, she came running to me expecting me to cuddle and pamper her. And I finally couldn't stop myself from sitting down next to her and loving her to her heart's content. That was when she let me in the house to meet them for whom i actually planned the trip..!
After lunch, we sat down in the verandah to have our evening coffee. This was again the time when darling Kajji came to me with her warm eyes. Her eyes held in them love, care and affection for everyone and me. The evening passed by chatting with family and, loving and pampering Kajji.

Then came D-day..! We had our morning tea and breakfast in the verandah, surrounded by Kajji all the time. While we all had breakfast, she watched us with the same love in her eyes. After breakfast, it was time to say goodbye to everyone, including Kajji. It was the saddest part of the whole trip. My heart almost got into pieces with the mere thought of saying goodbye to her, and so did hers. She didn't want us to leave, she wanted us to stay longer - her expression screamed that out loud..! We so wished not to depart but I had to come back, and none of us could change that fact. My last and final goodbye to her was when she came running behind me till the gate and had the saddest ever expression on her pretty little face. Her face that once had a glow on it, dropped down. (I still remember that face and get goosebumps all over me..!)
The moment we departed was the moment of a silent promise, a promise that said we'd meet soon and keep that love for each other forever alive in our hearts..!

A city that changed its meaning..

It was lot more than merely a city filled with colors, festivals, people, vehicles, buses and metros. I always saw people in a hurry to get to their destinations by the fastest mean of transport; teenagers lost in their own world travelling in the metros; all the young guys and girls eating, partying, hanging out. The city had its own value, its essence, its own being. There was only chaos I could see all around all the time, but on the inside, I always felt blue, very blue..

My love for that city began about two years back, over a cup of coffee and heavy rainfall. The weather there was gloomy and dull, but my heart was as bright as the sun. There was so much to talk, so much to share, so much to care.. There was something (or ‘someone’, I should say) about the place that always gave me a feeling of peace, gave me a feeling of belonging, a feeling of love. There was something about the place that kept me going, kept me wanting to visit the place more and more, it actually made me greedy. Each day was not only a new day with the sun rising as usual, it was a new beginning - a new life. My days were wrapped up with a giggles, whistles, love and fun. There was no end to the day. And by the time I could think of ending the day and falling asleep, I got a new life..a life with hope, excitement, fun, greed and love..
