A city that changed its meaning..

It was lot more than merely a city filled with colors, festivals, people, vehicles, buses and metros. I always saw people in a hurry to get to their destinations by the fastest mean of transport; teenagers lost in their own world travelling in the metros; all the young guys and girls eating, partying, hanging out. The city had its own value, its essence, its own being. There was only chaos I could see all around all the time, but on the inside, I always felt blue, very blue..

My love for that city began about two years back, over a cup of coffee and heavy rainfall. The weather there was gloomy and dull, but my heart was as bright as the sun. There was so much to talk, so much to share, so much to care.. There was something (or ‘someone’, I should say) about the place that always gave me a feeling of peace, gave me a feeling of belonging, a feeling of love. There was something about the place that kept me going, kept me wanting to visit the place more and more, it actually made me greedy. Each day was not only a new day with the sun rising as usual, it was a new beginning - a new life. My days were wrapped up with a giggles, whistles, love and fun. There was no end to the day. And by the time I could think of ending the day and falling asleep, I got a new life..a life with hope, excitement, fun, greed and love..
